  • Innovative algae species with promise to revolutionise farming

    Omega-3 is the increasingly sought after natural fatty acid, essential both as a nutrient for human health and as an ingredient for aqua-culture feed. However it comes at the expense of endangered fish populations, human over-population, and increasingly contaminated oceans and seas. To protect this resource and our planet, we will support scientists from Ben Gurion University to develop a micro-alga native to the desert of Israel.
